v0.0.1
Released by Alisherka7 · Engineer
First developer preview
The thingflash CLI on PyPI, a doctor command that validates AWS credentials and IAM permissions, and the base thingflash.yaml manifest.

The first public build of Thingflash. It lays down the foundation the rest of the product will sit on: a CLI you can install from PyPI, a preflight check that tells you exactly which AWS permissions you're missing, and the manifest format that describes a fleet. This is an early development release — expect the surface to keep moving before v0.1.
What's new
thingflash on PyPI
Install with pip install thingflash and get the base CLI: commands, help output, and version reporting.
thingflash doctor
Runs a preflight check against your AWS account, verifying that credentials resolve, a region is set, and the IAM identity can reach the services Thingflash needs.
Guided IAM setup
When a permission is missing, doctor names the action it failed on and prints the policy statement to attach, so you can fix it without hunting through the IAM console.
thingflash.yaml manifest
The base manifest format that describes a project — metadata, AWS settings, fleet, and MQTT — validated with Pydantic models so errors point at the field that's wrong.
